Andrée Ng

I hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from U.C. Irvine and a master’s degree from U.C. Santa Barbara. My focus was in quantum physics, internet performance, chip design/multi-processing, and lasers. Post college, I work as a technology and management consultant, serving clients in communication and high technology, financial and public services, and products. My client work also extends to broader business growth and organization and innovation strategy.
Upon graduating from U.C. Santa Barbara, I applied to jobs through numerous online job searching sites, only to be frustrated with the application process. Online resume submission is convenient for companies, but presents thousands of candidates two dimensionally. I want employers to know that I am more than just my resume.
I met Chris in the electrical engineering program at U.C. Irvine. We built Sonewe as a way to democratize resumes and allow you to manage your personal and professional online presence.

I received my bachelor’s in electrical engineering from U.C. Irvine; prior to this I studied at the University of Sheffield in England. My concentration was in micro-electronics, circuit design, internet optimization, and digital signal processing. Along with Andrée, I manage Sonewe’s day-to-day operations.
Currently, I am a Systems Analyst for a firm in New York, specializing in voice and data systems, where I consult for a variety of Real Estate, Public Relations/Advertising, and Health & Spa clients.
Together, Andrée and I founded Sonewe by integrating the daily challenges we face as professionals — finding business and career opportunities while making the most of professional and social networks. Our goal is to make Sonewe a hub to present a more three-dimensional you.
